Springtime is officially here in Austin and the Texas bluebonnets are prolific this year. If you’ve never visited the Hill Country before, this is definitely the time to enjoy it! One of my favorite day trips this time of year (and Merit’s) is to drive out to Becker Vineyards near Fredericksburg and enjoy a glass of wine while looking out over the hundreds of wild blooming bluebonnets.
I’ve been at home for the last couple of weeks working on my second book and it’s been so exciting to see it start coming together. It’ll be out soon and I can’t wait to start sharing it with you!
We kicked this week off by hopping on a blog tour with Brook Cottage Books over in the faraway land of the UK. It’s crazy to see my Texas thriller travel thousands of miles across the pond and find its way into the hands of new readers! I even had the pleasure of sharing virtual tea and chocolate biscuits with Rhoda Baxter of Inheritance Books and told her a fun story about a book and my junior high school librarian.
