Part of the award winning Merit Bridges Legal Thriller Series.

When a college student vanishes in downtown Austin, private investigator Ag Malone is hired by her wealthy stepfather to bring her home. What begins as a routine missing persons case quickly spirals into something darker and far more dangerous.

An abandoned car. Missing surveillance footage. A shadowy private security firm with secrets to protect.

As Ag digs deeper into the girl’s disappearance, the clues refuse to add up. Witnesses dodge questions. Evidence disappears. And the money trail leads straight toward powerful people willing to do anything to keep the truth buried.

Then Ag makes a chilling discovery: he may not have been hired to solve the case at all. He may have been hired to help cover it up.

Fast paced, gritty, and packed with sharp dialogue and Texas atmosphere, Texas Tangle delivers a hard boiled mystery filled with twists, danger, and classic PI suspense. Fans of smart detective fiction and modern noir will want to ride shotgun with Ag Malone to the very last page.
