July/August Web Round-Up

Hi Y’all,

This week I’m back in Austin to regroup and get ready for Bouchercon: Crime on the Bayou – New Orleans. While there, I’ll be volunteering, signing books and seeing old and new friends!

To recap my summer across the web, here’s a round-up of all the recent online happenings:

Over at Southern Writers Magazine, I shared my thoughts on The Romance of the Law.

The Suspense is Thrilling Me hosted me for a Q&A and I had the opportunity to talk about the under-represented groups featured in Dollar Signs.

I credited my love of reading to my childhood librarian at a BookPeople panel and signing that was recapped by the Austin Mystery Writers.

Does anyone know the origin of the Legal Thriller? Hop over to MysteryPeople for my explanation!

The fabulous Pam Stack of Authors on the Air conducted a live interview and I gave many sneak peeks into the background of Dollar Signs.

Next week we have special announcements regarding our upcoming contests. Be sure to check in and join in! In the meantime…

Happy Reading,

Manning
